Taylor and his shoe obession

For some strange reason Taylor loves to wear shoes, not on his feet but his hands. He will often crawl over to the coat closet and pick out a shoe to wear on his hand as he crawls around. This kid cracks me up. I have not idea why he does this. It is only one shoe and it is usually Audrey's Twinkle toes shoe. He tried one of her boots the other day which went all the way up to his shoulder....

Bake Time

I love the holidays.... Especially baking. I can remember baking with my mom when  I was Audrey's age and it's a tradition I will carry on with my kiddos. I only took two pictures of the goodies but we made way more!!! I was going to take more... oh well at least I got some

Oreo Cookies. We love these! Audrey did most of these on her own... She is getting so big!

Sugar Cookies.  I wanted to make these perfect and they were with the help of Audrey

This year Brody and Taylor decided they wanted to help as well. They were each given a spoon and bowl to play with.... I mean help. They were also very good at making sure there was no crumbs on the floor! At one point Brody got a piece of cookie that fell on the floor and the next thing I saw was a sword fight hahaha  boys will be boys!

These shirts are from their Great Grandma and Grandpa Coatney. They are so lucky to have so much family who love them.

Brody and Taylor have some pretty big blue eyes!

Here comes the sword fight.... oh man

Way to Go Audrey!!!!

Today I get to brag about Audrey!!! Here comes a  proud mommy moment....Today at school Audrey was recognized for Academic Achievement!!!! There is four kindergarten classes. Each month they choose a student who has gone above and beyond and Audrey was chosen! Audrey is one of the top readers in her class. She is also doing above and beyond in writing, math, science. We are so proud of you Audrey! Keep up the good work.

Here is Audrey in the Assembly being recognized!!! Her teacher Mrs. Klubberud is amazing! ( I did not realize the principles shirt until I looked at this picture. It's nice to see the christmas spirit still alive in school. He even wished the kids a Merry Christmas! )

I love the look on Audrey's face. I asked her what was wrong afterwards and her reply was.... "All that hard work and I only get a piece of paper?"  LOL got to love kids. Don't worry I stopped by and got her a doughnut on the way home.

3+3

Dennis and I always joke about having guy/girl teams in the house. For a long time it was Mom and Audrey (2 girls) vs Dad (1 guy) . When we had the twins it switched to 3 guys vs. 2 girls. I am so thankful our last child will even out the teams.... We are so excited to have another girl. When we told audrey what we were having we teased her at first like mean parents and told her it was two more boys. The look on her face was priceless. I then asked her how badly she wanted a sister and she drew a line around her heart. It was priceless when we told her she was really getting a sister. Dennis and I had said that we would have another baby if we knew without a doubt it would be a girl. So be careful what you say, it just might happen!

First day of School!

Audrey was so excited to start school today. I thought I would have a really hard time letting her go but I could not help but be excited for her. Audrey never sleeps in she is usually pulling me out of bed. This must only last until school starts. I had to wake Audrey up this morning. She was so excited to get ready. She had to make sure she had her makeup done, nails painted, hair had to be perfect, and of course the cutest outfit she could find. I am in so much trouble with her......I really wanted her to wear a pair of cute shoes but she really wanted flip flops.... it was her day and she won! I know Audrey will do amazing in school. The teacher said that Audrey was going to be her social butterfly and I am sure she is more than right about this. When we got to school we realized we have three friends from church in the same class. Audrey's teacher Mrs. Klubberud is amazing. Parents fight over her so we are very lucky to have her. She has been teaching for 23 years. She plays the piano and guitar with the kiddos. I am excited for Audrey this year! Good luck Audrey I know you will do great!

climbing before crawling...

Both Brody and Taylor have not crawled yet. They army crawl really fast, get up on all fours and rock but have not actually crawled. They just started pulling themselves up on furniture the other day. They are a little behind for their age. However they are right on track for their adjusted age. I have to adjust them back six weeks on everything because they came so early. This is only suppose to last the first year.

I usually have the stairs blocked off with a big bin. . They like to pull themselves up on the first step and then cry because they are stuck. Last night both boys went to bed just fine. I moved the bin after they were asleep. Brody decided to get up last night as he was not tired anymore. I forgot to put the bin back. When I was sitting on the couch I could hear brody but I could not see him...

He was climbing the stairs. When I found him he was already on the 4th stair....
Interesting that he can climb the stairs no problem, yet he can not crawl yet.

I don't even know where to begin....

I am so far behind on my blogging that I keep putting it off! I seriously do not even know where to begin. I guess the best part to start with is the biggest news of all.(No saving the best for last
around here!)

No this is not a joke. We have another baby on the way.... here are the answers to the questions you are probably asking yourself if you are done laughing that is..

Yes there is only one baby!

No we were not planning on having anymore children.. We were more than happy and content with three children. Lesson learned don't be content....

I am due February 14th. We will have 3 children under 15 months. Feel free to cry when you read this part.... Three kids under 15 months. I don't think there is anyway to prepare for this one.

Yes I was on birth control. Without getting too personal here. I have had cysts removed off of my ovaries. I was waiting until the boys were 6 months old to go in a see if I had new ones growing. If I did I was going to get everything taken out. If I did not have any cysts Dennis was going to have the "procedure" done. We got pregnant a week before the 6 month mark.

We all would like a girl. (Although Brody and Taylor can not talk and voice their opinion. I am sure if they could they would be the only two in the house hoping for a brother)

On with the rest of summer!

Audrey has loved her pool this summer. I am so glad we got her one. There has been no trips to the lake or beach this summer with two babies!

Audrey sure loves her daddy!

We took a trip to Mt. Rainier this summer. It was fun and the boys did great!
Not the best picture of taylor but it was the only one I got of both of them at the mountain.

We planted a garden..
This was the biggest Strawberry I have ever seen that was not for sale at the store. The green strawberry in the front was an average size strawberry to give you an idea of how big this sucker was. We got the plant from spooner farms...

The best thing in the whole garden. Peas....

Our Corn is doing awesome!

Who would have thought that I of all people would have planted a jalapeno pepper plant?

Our apple tree is huge. In fact it is so big that a huge branch brooke off the other day because it is too heavy with all of the apples.

Every night we go out and water the garden together. It is my favorite time of the day with dennis. We are not out there very long but I think it is safe to say the boys do not like this part of the day.

Well that is some of our summer adventures
