Audrey has something she wants to share....

I was going to wait a little longer to share the news but I can't hold it in any longer. If you can't tell Audrey is so excited to be a big sister. She has so many plans for her brother or sister. Last night she went through her books and put some in the baby's room.

I am also very excited! I am due December 28th. I have not thrown up once yet which is a miracle. With Audrey I threw up at least 40 times a day and was in and out of the hospital my entire pregnancy. I feel very tired and I am kind of mean right now. It's true just ask Dennis he will tell you. I feel bad for being so mean and short but I can't help myself. Hopefully the mean streak go away quickly!

Our little adventures of the last month

It has been way too long since I posted a real blog… There has been so much that has happened in the last month. It is almost overwhelming to catch up. I have procrastinated long enough though so lets see how much I can remember….\

First~ At the beginning of last month (I know I know) I got sick, really sick. I first thought it was the flu. I exercised hard that morning and so I thought the cramping was my muscles sore. By the end of the evening I was so sick that I decided it was time to head to the Emergency room. After the 5th dose of morphine I finally felt some relief. They discovered that I had a cyst on my ovary that was the size of an Orange that exploded. It was seriously on of the most painful nights of my life.

I spent the night in the hospital so they could observe me. I was supposed to start my job that day, as well as take my midterms. This sickness could not have come at a better time. I was so worried that I would not be able to keep my job, and get behind in my classes. There was over 600 people who were interviewed so replacing me would be no big deal. Luckily I was feeling better and I went to work the next day. During the next week I completed training.

Second~ I had a check-up appointment that I put off so I could finish my training. Every time I had to call and reschedule I got a small lecture about how important it was to get in. It was not until my teacher explained to me the side effects of a cyst that was a large as I had had. I had another cyst on my other Ovary that I was supposed to go in and get checked out. It was a little smaller than the other. When I was in the hospital they took measurements to see the size and wanted to see how much it would grow in a week. So long story short one night I started having the same pain again. I prayed and prayed that I could make it until the morning to go to the doctor and avoid the Emergency room. When I went in the cyst was still there and it had grown ½ cm in a week! So I found out that I was having surgery in the next two hours. I feel SO much better now! I also know that these stupid cysts are starting to grow back. I was told it was time to get my children here NOW, no more waiting; so they could take care of the problem once and for all… Removing the Ovaries… I am not sure what I think about going through menopause in my early 30’s so for now I am not going to think about it!

Third~ on a happier note we bought a car! We got a 2002 Volkswagen Passat. I have always wanted one of these cars. I love it! One of my favorite features is the heated seat. This is so nice when I get off work and my back is aching. This is not the actual picture I still need to bust out our camera and take a few shots.. It has a sunroof, heated seats, leather 8 air bags which makes me feel better, and it is so roomy for a car.

Fourth~ I got a job! I love working at the Olive Garden. It is one of my favorite places to work. I quickly learned two things; One: a server makes way less than minimum wage, Two: You really can make good money as a server. I had no idea how much money you can make if you work hard. Another perk is I get to work with my sister-in-law and brother-in-law. This has been a huge blessing for me. This company is amazing. I don’t think I will quit until I graduate. Even then I may not quit. Well see I am still new.

Fifth~ One night at work my father-in-law showed up. I was beyond excited. It made my night. While in Rexburg we do not see family that often. It was such a nice surprise. I know it was a short visit but thanks for the Visit.

Sixth~ I told you it was a busy month. Dennis and I finished school today! I am so excited to have a break for a couple of weeks. Lets just say I was beyond excited to return our books!
