Taylor and his shoe obession

For some strange reason Taylor loves to wear shoes, not on his feet but his hands. He will often crawl over to the coat closet and pick out a shoe to wear on his hand as he crawls around. This kid cracks me up. I have not idea why he does this. It is only one shoe and it is usually Audrey's Twinkle toes shoe. He tried one of her boots the other day which went all the way up to his shoulder....

Bake Time

I love the holidays.... Especially baking. I can remember baking with my mom when  I was Audrey's age and it's a tradition I will carry on with my kiddos. I only took two pictures of the goodies but we made way more!!! I was going to take more... oh well at least I got some

Oreo Cookies. We love these! Audrey did most of these on her own... She is getting so big!

Sugar Cookies.  I wanted to make these perfect and they were with the help of Audrey

This year Brody and Taylor decided they wanted to help as well. They were each given a spoon and bowl to play with.... I mean help. They were also very good at making sure there was no crumbs on the floor! At one point Brody got a piece of cookie that fell on the floor and the next thing I saw was a sword fight hahaha  boys will be boys!

These shirts are from their Great Grandma and Grandpa Coatney. They are so lucky to have so much family who love them.

Brody and Taylor have some pretty big blue eyes!

Here comes the sword fight.... oh man

Way to Go Audrey!!!!

Today I get to brag about Audrey!!! Here comes a  proud mommy moment....Today at school Audrey was recognized for Academic Achievement!!!! There is four kindergarten classes. Each month they choose a student who has gone above and beyond and Audrey was chosen! Audrey is one of the top readers in her class. She is also doing above and beyond in writing, math, science. We are so proud of you Audrey! Keep up the good work.

Here is Audrey in the Assembly being recognized!!! Her teacher Mrs. Klubberud is amazing! ( I did not realize the principles shirt until I looked at this picture. It's nice to see the christmas spirit still alive in school. He even wished the kids a Merry Christmas! )

I love the look on Audrey's face. I asked her what was wrong afterwards and her reply was.... "All that hard work and I only get a piece of paper?"  LOL got to love kids. Don't worry I stopped by and got her a doughnut on the way home.
