Brotherly Love

Today during the ultrasound baby A and Baby B were showing some brotherly kindness....

You can see the foot up by the face. For a moment we thought it was the same baby's foot.
A second later we got this shot.
Baby A decided to kick Baby B in the eye. This was followed by a fight. My belly was going crazy. They were kicking and punching each other. If this is any indication as to how these two are going to be they can just stay in there for awhile.

I am dilated to a 2. I am not on bed rest yet. As long as I continue to take it easy then I can avoid bed rest for a few more weeks. I am 23 weeks and I am measuring 25 weeks. The doctor said I have to eat more. He said I should be measuring closer to 30 weeks. I feel like I am eating too much but I guess I need to eat more!

Belly Shot 21 Weeks

Don't mind the yellow picture. We need to buy a camera. It's on the list of things to purchase!

I really did not want to take this picture. However, I wish I had more pictures when I was pregnant with Audrey so here it is. I am currently 21 weeks

My goal is to make it to 36 weeks. My doctor said if I can make it to 34 weeks he will be happy but I need to have 36 weeks in my head.... I can't believe how fast this pregnancy is starting to go.

I have been feeling GREAT!!! (knock on wood) These boys are very active. It is hard to sleep on my side because a baby will start kicking like crazy. When I roll over the the other side the other does the same. I guess this is getting back into the habit of no sleep.

I have gained 16 pounds so far. I have a long way to go but I hope I don't gain too much wait.

As far as names goes I have a few that I like but we are defiantly not set on any names yet. I like Brody Dennis likes Justin and Blake. Names are so hard.

Friends

Well we have made the move back to Washington.

There was multiple factors that went into this decision.

Dennis has decided to switch his major. His plan was to major in Chiropractic but with twins on the way and knowing he has at least 7 more years of schooling left he decided to change his major. With his new major he can start working faster and continue schooling as he gets experience in the field. He will now be going into Radiology. He can eventually work his way into a Doctorate degree.

With twins on the way it will be nice to be near so much family. Our entire family lives in Washington. My parents moved a few years ago to Idaho so we will be away from them. It is hard to be away from my parents but I am grateful for all of our other family!

On a sad note Audrey had so many friends that she LOVED playing with on a daily basis. I have left many friends as well. This has been a hard adjustment for both of us. Luckily we live next to some cousins which has been nice but it is not the same as opening the door and letting her play outside all day long. We will have to plan a visit soon!

It is hard leaving an area that we loved. Who knows where we will end up one day. Dennis and I have moved 7 times in the last 5 years.
These are the friends that Audrey left behind. We miss you guys!

So freaking good!

Yesterday I turned 26. I can't believe I am 26. It seems like life is going by so fast. Yesterday was a relaxing day. I really did a bunch of nothing and it was really nice. We went out to dinner with Jen and Jeff at the Melting Pot. The entire night Dennis kept saying This is so freaking good! and he was right. The Melting Pot is by far one of my favorite restaurants. You start with a yummy cheese fondue, then you have a choice of 4 yummy salads, followed by the meat course (pictured below you can see it is missing some meat already. There was no waiting) and we finished with some tasty dessert.

100% Sure...

I have thought all along that I would have one girl and one boy. I was sure this is what they were and if for some reason they were not one of each then it was defiantly girls. At 16 weeks the ultrasound tech was positive Baby A was a boy and pretty sure Baby B was a boy as well. I thought things would change for sure. I had another ultrasound yesterday and I will let you be the judge

Baby A
I thought a face shot would be nice as well.

Baby B

Yeah it is pretty obvious we are having two boys! We are excited but I have to be honest and say we were hoping for a little girl. I get excited thinking about all the things they will get to do together. Audrey is excited. She was also hoping for a sister as well but is okay with two boys and being the only princess. We have no idea on names. Names are so hard Especially when you have to come up with two of them.

I met my new doctor yesterday and I feel so much better now. My first apt took me 4 hours! (Thanks for watching Audrey Jaime!) They were more than thorough. I really did not have to wait that long during those 4 hours maybe 20 minutes total which was great. The doctor informed me of what to expect with twins. Here are some things that I learned.

~If one of the babies water breaks before 34 weeks they will stick me in the hospital and wait until I hit 34 weeks as long as the baby can tolerate it.

~ The babies are in separate sacs and have their own placenta which is great except that one baby can steal all the nourishment from the other baby so they will take the babies early if this happens.

~ With the problems that I have had so far during the pregnancy, the doctor expects me to deliver around 34 weeks He said he would be shocked if I made it to 36 weeks.

~ As long as Baby A stays head down I can deliver normally. They can deliver the second baby breech.

I won't bore you with any more details!

Here is a photo of my belly
Okay just kidding but this is how the babies are laying. The coolest thing is I have baby A's head on my bladder as well as baby B's feet on my bladder. I will get a photo of my belly soon. I am 20 weeks and I am measuring at 26 weeks! Crazy Hopefully I do not get to big!
