It's not food... it's junk

Dennis and I have been trying really hard to eat healthy. I am not saying we are perfect by any means but we are really trying right now. The only junk food that has been in our house has been a bag of Doritos. Tonight Dennis felt like some ice cream so he ran to the store. A few minutes after Audrey got her bowl of ice cream she came up to the office where I was working and the following conversation took place.

Audrey: Mom why do I have to stay in the kitchen with my ice cream?
Mom: We don't want it to spill and get on the carpet so food has to stay in the kitchen.
Audrey: Mom its not food
Mom: Yes it is
Audrey: No it's not it's junk.

I am glad our kid knows what junk is.

Just thought I would the nightly humor that comes from Audrey.

If you need a good laugh watch this

What a Day!

This morning I thought this was going to be a boring day.... I studied and studied for a test that I thought I was going to completely fail. I HATE taking tests HATE it. I get nervous and think I am going to fail. I don't know why I have this problem but I do. I studied all morning and then I went to get help from a tutor (which I was even more confused when I left). So I braved the test and got 100%. Who would of thought!!! Needless to say this made my day.

We then headed for the hill with some friends for some tubing. It was so much fun. This is something we have decided to do more and more. Its FREE, It's Fun, and It's a great Workout!

After braving the cold we decided it would be a perfect ending to the day with some pizza and hot tubing. It was the best no cooking, no cleaning, and tasty. The perfect meal to eat right before you get into a swimsuit. Audrey, Sadie, David, and Calli all had fun swimming. It was fun for the adults too!
Thanks Mike and Megan for a FUN day! We need to do it again.

Audrey being strong like her daddy and Mike trying to pull her friend sadie up the HUGE hill!
The group making the climb. What a workout.

I Love to see the temple

Last night for Family Home Evening we had some of our good friends over. First we ate some yummy White Chicken Chili, Had a lesson about the temple, made temples, and finished with some fondue.

Audrey has been asking lots of questions about the temple lately. I am sure this is due to the fact that we live not even five minutes from the temple. The Rexburg temple sits on a hill and can be seen for miles. It is incredible site to see everyday.

To be honest we have not been good about doing FHE. This is my new years resolution thought! So hopefully there will be many blogs to come this year that have to do with FHE.
